Ian Salmon was born and raised in the Orlando, Florida area. In his youth, Ian became an avid fan of the Orlando Magic and even played youth basketball with the Junior Magic in Apopka, Florida. He attended high school locally at Bishop Moore Catholic High School where he played football and lacrosse, and received a varsity letter for water polo.

Once Ian graduated high school, he attended the University of Central Florida where he was on the board of Late Knights, an outreach group that focused on enhancing the community. He graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration. Ian then attended Stetson University in Deland, Florida seeking a Masters’ in Business Administration (MBA). While at Stetson, Ian was a founder and board member for Stetson’s Graduate Business Society.

After receiving his MBA from Stetson, Ian attended Barry University, Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law in Orlando, Florida. While there, Ian joined Phi Alpha Delta Law Society and he served as its president for two consecutive years.
Before coming to work at Hightower, Stratton, Novigrod & Kantor, Ian worked in the financial sector, advising banks to prevent money laundering and funding of terrorist activity.

In his spare time, Ian enjoys spending time with his family, watching college football and basketball, as well as trying new types of sour beers.
